Graduate Certificate

The Graduate Certificate in Information Assurance is a unique academic program offered by the nationally recognized Center for Telecommunications and Network Security, or CTANS, which serves as the focal point for education, research and outreach in information assurance at Oklahoma State University.

The 15-credit-hour program focuses on establishing an understanding of the functionality of computer networks, an examination of the unauthorized methods used to access and manipulate these systems, and the methods used to establish a secure system capable of collecting and storing the data readily available to authorized users. Applicants must have completed a bachelor's degree in management information systems, computer science, electrical and computer engineering or another computer-related field of study; meet the admission standards of the Graduate College; and have the equivalent of at least a 3.0 GPA. The GMAT or GRE is not required.
